Hidden Places in Athens

A million little windows
A million little doors
A million different stories
A million different souls

So many mouths to tell us
So many eyes that see
So many hills to conquer
So many silent pleas

Where is our happy ending?
Where is our hall of bliss?

Is it over the mountain?
Is it beyond the cliff?

I guess they’ll never tell us
I guess we’ll never know
I guess they’ll keep on pushing
I guess we’ll bend down low

Back to our little windows
Back to our little doors
Back to our silent stories
Back to our shadowed souls

Hello all. I am a full-time writer who is constantly trying to find her voice. I write fiction, non-fiction and poetry. These days I'm really into writing poems (mainly Haiku poetry), but I like to dabble in all forms of writing. Thank you in advance for liking my writing, but please don't hesitate to leave me a message, to give me feedback on a piece you've read, to follow my page and to share my website with others. I'm really trying to grow as a writer and find my audience, and that will only happen through dialogue and connection! So I'm here and happy to engage with you. Have a good one, and hope to see you around here sometime.
