Resist

Imagination
Running Rampant
Hidden chambers
Safely kept
Building up
A strong encampment
Tense affections
Left unsaid

Do I dare to
Speak them loudly
Strong foundations
Damn it all
Is it just a
Passing fancy
Merely boredom
Taking hold

Only time
And crushing distance
Combat weapons
Poised to fell
What I wrestle with
In silence:
Potent tendrils
Of your spell
