A Walk Along an Open Path in Daylight

With all of this openness

I feel ten feet tall

Walking along this vast road before me

The way is long

And I cannot see beyond the bend

But my heart is full of blue skies

And the clouds map out nothing but

Hope and fair winds

I only need to keep walking

One foot in front of the other

And to whistle a few tunes

With every bird that passes by
