Gorgeously defiant
Pink clouds sprout
And burst through a
Dim grayscale sky
Refusing to be unseen
What a voice to have
Awestruck, I watch
At life’s rebuttal to
Submit before
Winter’s last grip
I warm my tongue
And coat my throat
In Springtime honey
Ready to shout alongside
These pink fists
Who pave the way
